GTAGT was formed out of love. As parents of G/T students, we know our children have all the potential to make a positive impact on the world as we know it.In a society that has come to accept mediocrity as the norm, it is up to us, their parents, to ensure that our students are challenged and prepared to be the inventors, problem solvers, entrepreneurs and physicists of tomorrow.
At no other time in our children's life will we have the opportunity to make such a direct impact! Whether your child is in 1st grade, going into Middle School or enjoying their high school years, we have the chance to enhance communication between all stakeholders in Gifted & Talented education. This is our opportunity to assist GISD in ensuring that G/T services are provided horizontally across the district. We get to stand beside the teachers & administrators that serve our children every day and make sure they have whatever tools they need to do what is best for our children.
